Shoshone Pet Rescue

Where your best friend is waiting!

Shoshone Pet Rescue - Silver Valley, Idaho

If you wish to become a member please click here for an application.

Our mission is to promote the welfare of companion animals in our community by reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs, by providing education and resources to prevent abandonment and neglect of pets, and by sheltering and finding forever homes for abandoned pets.

If you are looking for a new best friend chances are they are waiting for you right here.

Do you love animals?

We are looking for volunteers that want to help abandoned companion animals in the Silver Valley. There are many ways in which you can contribute your time; as little as one hour per week of your time will increase our ability to provide care for animals in need. Volunteers benefit not only from the sense that their help makes a difference for animals that have been through rough times, but from opportunities to learn about animal behavior, and from meeting like-minded people with a desire to improve animal welfare.

Some of our jobs are hands-on work with the animals, such as walking, fostering, socializing, photographing or transporting dogs and cats.

Other jobs are equally important but involve working with people, paperwork or computers.

Look through the following list of volunteer opportunities, and see if any of them are a match for your skill set. If you have an idea that is not covered on the list, let us know! Give us a call if you have any questions: 208.512.3401. Or email us at shoshonepetrescue@yahoo.com. and we can send you a volunteer application.
